Licensure Pathways
Traditional 150-Credit Pathway
- •150 semester hours including auditing course
- •24 hours of accounting, 24 hours of business
- •1 year of supervised experience under licensed CPA
120-Credit + Experience Pathway
Effective: July 1, 2026
- •Bachelor's degree (120 hours) with accounting concentration
- •2 years of supervised experience under licensed CPA (instead of 1 year)
- •Replaces previous 120/150 credit references in Utah code
- •Auditing course still required
