Cost per exam section
The CPA exam has four sections: the three core sections (FAR, AUD, REG) and one discipline section (BAR, TCP, or ISC). Dividing each Becker tier by four gives the per-section cost:
A candidate who passes all four sections on first attempt at Pro promo pricing pays $673 per pass, about $48 more per section than Advantage but with the live classes and Pass Guarantee included. The Becker premium is paying for three specific things beyond the question bank and video lectures: daily LiveOnline classes, the Newt AI exam assistant at every tier, and the Pass Guarantee on Pro tier and above. Gleim does not include live instruction at any price. UWorld has video lectures without a live component. NINJA includes live instruction at $67 per month but at a lighter cadence than Becker's daily LiveOnline schedule. If you are not going to use Becker's daily live classes, the comparison shifts and the cheaper providers offer the same exam preparation for roughly half the price.

For a candidate planning to buy Becker this fall, the math is straightforward: buying while the promotion is live saves $1,153 on Pro or Pro+. The on-site fine print says the sale ends October 12 at 11:59pm CST, so October 12 is the date to work back from. If your exam date is more than a year out and you do not need the course material until later, the unlimited-access tiers (Premium, Pro, Pro+, Concierge) let you buy now and start when ready.
